My name is Rachelle, and this is our story.

In 2013, our father - Mike, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. After enduring many surgeries and chemotherapy treatments, he lost his battle to cancer on July 2, 2014. Soon after his passing, our mother - Heidi was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and after a 5 year battle with cancer Heidi’s journey ended on July 6, 2019.

Let’s rewind back to our childhood… our parents were the definition of “fun”. To say they lived a zestful life would be an understatement. Long before either of their diagnosis’, they would strive to provide a fun and adventurous life for us. After our Dad was diagnosed, he continued to downhill ski insane terrain, he opened up more companies, and carried on to live his life to the absolute fullest.

Mourning the passing of her husband, our Mom soon realized something was wrong with her own health.

Immediately after her diagnosis, her reaction to the doctor was “well that wont work, I have s#!t to do!” This simple statement is what carried Heidi through her journey with cancer. Our Mom supported us during the grief of our Dad, and encouraged uplifting spirits during her own treatments. Through that, we continued to go live.

We travelled all over the world, we boated all over the west coast, we spent every minute with family and friends, we tried new sports - we lived life as if she was never sick.

This was the beginning of our little idea that became the Go Live Foundation.

Although we have lost both of our parents to this dreadful illness, we have found peace and passion in how it can change your outlook and zest for life. We raise money for other charities that help aid and support those battling cancer. Each and everyone of us has come in contact with cancer in one way or another - so this is your sign to GO LIVE as life is so precious, and so short.

This is their legacy. To support others. To promote living each day with purpose. To never stop fighting. To Go Live.
